I first met Martin at The Blues Garage in Hannover, Germany. The owner had booked him to appear on the bill as well - to make it an all Irish night! I was pleasantly surprised with his set. With his easy manner and approach he had the audience in his hand in no time and continued to woo them with a fine mixture of blues, traditional Irish ballads and contemporary folk, all played in his own special style.
